Breakdown Cover

After having to pay out for car insurance, MOT and road tax you could be excused for forgetting about getting breakdown cover. But many of us don't know that if your car is over 3 years old there is a 10% chance that your can could break down.

In the short term not getting breakdown cover could save you money, but in the long term it could cost you up three times the amount of you breakdown premium.

During the winter cars often break down in the middle of the journey and often require some sort of road side assistance. This does not mean that you will not need road side assistance during the warmer months. Many motorists get fooled in to a false sense of security thinking that their car is unlikely to breakdown because the weather is warmer, as many cars tend to over heat.

On many occasions some of these problems can be avoided if you just spend a little time every month checking your car. Going through these checks monthly does not 100% grantee that your car will always be in good working order, but it helps.
