Car insurance cost to be slashed?

Car Insurance costs and premiums could be reduced if the people who are injured and making a personal claim do not use lawyers.

According to the Assoication of British insurers (ABI) they are freeing people from the need to use lawyers for claims of up to £25,000,
which would save consurmers billions of pounds a year in their car insurance premium.but this new has not been greeted by everyboby.
The assoication of personal injury Lawyers state that, victims will recive less money under the new propsals.

They state that intitial compensation sums offfered by car insurers are, on average, half the of the final amounts secured by lawyers.

The director of the ABI Stephen Haddrill is very confident in the system and state that, 'our proposals are a blueprint for a much-needed reform of the personal injury compensation system. Too many people are waiting far too long to get a fair pay-out.'

The new system would cover 95% of all claims and use set payments to speed up the claims process from today's three year timescale to six months.

However untill the system has be put in place will have to wait to see the results,consumer have been crying out for cheaper car insurance.
