The cheap motor insurance blueprint. .
Cheap motor insurers, here's your starter for 10..Where do you hang you design beret next if you're the man intrinsically responsible for the majestic Audi Steppenwolf, Rosemeyer and Avantissimo? Tired of conjuring up one beautiful Audi after another; and then indulging in a bit of jiggerpokery with Vee-Dub for a while, (just to start the wind down process) they've got to be seen to be doing something, somewhere before the pension plan kicks in cheap motor insurers. So, wherever that artistically worn headgear is next placed, shall, in theory, be called home. So, it's the hat stand at Kia Towers for Peter Schreyer then cheap motor insurers. Correctimo - the man who had the vision, coupled with the pencil-twiddling expertise to scribble lines down on a piece of paper that took the form of the Audi A's 2,3,4,6 and 8, aswell as the TT models, (is it me, or does that sound like the intro to Sesame Street? "And today's numbers we'll be looking at are the numbers 2,3,4,6 and 8 kids, and the letters T and, er T again.") Is to see what he can do for the price first, design last Korean car maker. I kid you not cheap motor insurers.
Schreyer was employed as Chief Designer at Audi between 1994 and 2002, and is therefore pretty familiar with blocks of wood set to be chiselled into jalopy-esque shapes, and wind tunnels, to perfect the aerodynamic element of those jalopy-esque shapes. And it's this know-how that he's taking with him to Kia. Not forgetting all the skills he put into practice for his stay as Vee-Dub; where he wiled away his days by sticking his creative oar into just about every model attached to every drawing board. Aswell as finding the time to research, originate, pen, edit, proofread and publish some adverts, complete a stint as Head of Advanced Design, rivet together a few Polo's and help out in HR. ok, the last two were outright lies, yet the others tasks he threw himself headlong into. So Kia are getting a lot of man for their money, in the same way British sex tourists do in that part of the world. Not that I'm suggesting that Peter is a lady boy, or for that matter that Kia would be employing his services if he were. So apologies if I've offended anybody.
Speaking of offending, perhaps now Kia can put behind them their history of automotive mishaps and perhaps produce something that you may wish to look at longer than it takes to open the door and slip inside. Euisun Chang certainly believes so, and as Kia's top man considers he's done rather well to lure the designsmith who was instrumental in the creation of the Le Mans winning R8 Racer. There's no indication as to what the bait was at this stage, and Chang is staying tight-lipped. Apart from when he's saying things like this; "As we continue to develop the Kia brand across all key regional markets, we must continually enhance our range of vehicles through world-class, innovative advances in product design. This appointment underlines our commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations by accurately reflecting modern aesthetics and regional and cultural sensibilities." Which admittedly would be difficult to utter if you didn't flex your lips a tad. Similar to the immortal insurance industry line about 'our cheap motor insurance being the current benchmark by which all lesser, and not so cheap, motor insurers are measured by.' I think. Don't you just love quotes? And if you do, then you can receive any amount of them here, for free. Although you will have to pay for the cheap motor insurance variety.
